SR 9B I-95 to Race Track Road

DESCRIPTION:
Provide a new multi-laned limited access highway between I-95 in Duval County and Race Track Road in St. Johns County. FDOT is performing the Project Development and Environmental (PD&E) Study.

STATUS:
Current Activity: The PD&E is investigating realigning Racetrack Road to the south and developing concepts for the relocated Racetrack Road/SR 9B interchange.

Funding: Although the BJP-SPP Program allocates $15 million to this project, funding is not available to support that allocation.

Schedule: FDOT schedule.

DBE/MBE
DBE participation will conform with FDOT policies.

SIGNIFICANT ISSUES:
Total project funding is not programmed.
