Status Report is for April 11, 2008

DESCRIPTION:
This is a BJP Intersection Improvement Program project to construct
an interchange at the intersection.
STATUS:
Current Activity: CONSTRUCTION PHASE: This
is a Design-Build project. Design is now complete. Utilitiy
relocations, storm drain installation and roadway construction
are underway. The retention pond and box culvert are complete.
The new southbound ramps were completed and traffic switched
to them. The project is currently 40% complete.
Funding: Revised BJP Program allocation is
$43.12 million.
Schedule: Construction efforts began in March
2007 and are scheduled for completeion in the first quarter
of 2009.

used at the public meeting of the Beach-Kernan interchange project.

Q & A
DBE/MBE MBE participation will conform with
JTA policy.
SIGNIFICANT ISSUES:
Coordination with FDOT on the Beach Blvd. widening and with
CoJ on the Kernan Blvd. widening.
