Status Report is for October 30, 2007
DESCRIPTION:
Reconstruction and widening of approximately five miles of roadway
extending from Collins Road to Wilson Boulevard. The existing
four-lane rural roadway section will be improved.
STATUS:
Current Activity: PD&E PHASE: PD &
E Study has been reviewed and accepted by FDOT. Final signed
and sealed study was submitted to JTA in May 2007.
Funding: Revised BJP Program allocation is
$2.19 million.
Schedule: PD&E Study was completed in May
2007. Project is to be suspended upon completion of preliminary
engineering, due to lack of funds for future phases.
DBE/MBE
MBE participation will conform with JTA policies.
SIGNIFICANT ISSUES:
Potential improvement of intersections in lieu of widening.
Funding for future project phases - design, right-of-way and
construction.
