Status Report is for April 11, 2008
DESCRIPTION:
This is a BJP Intersection Improvement Program project to add
at-grade improvements at this intersection. In addition, potential
improvements from Baymeadows to west of I-95 will be identified.
STATUS:
Current Activity: DESIGN PHASE: The project
study scope is complete
A public information meeting was held on Monday, October 29
at Twin Lakes Academy Middle School. Citizens were able to talk
with staff about issues related to the project area. Click here

Funding: Revised BJP Program allocation is
$8 million.
Schedule: Final design recommendation is expected
by the second quarter of 2008. Design for the revised project
will be completed by the first quarter of 2009.
DBE/MBE
MBE participation will conform with JTA policy.
SIGNIFICANT ISSUES:
Preserving the surrounding neighborhoods, while providing traffic
congestion relief and improving safety at the intersection,
and reducing air pollution along the transportation corridor.
