Status Report is for April 11, 2008
DESCRIPTION:
This is a BJP Intersection Improvement Program project to construct
at-grade improvements at this intersection.
STATUS:
Current Activity: DESIGN PHASE: The Intersection
Component Evaluation Study recommended at-grade improvements
for this intersection. The consultant, Parsons Transportation
Group, has submitted 90% plan design.
A public meeting was held on January 29, 2008 at Love Grove

Funding: Revised BJP Program allocation is
$7.7 million.
Schedule: Design of the revised project will
be completed by Parsons Transportation Group in the first quarter
of 2008..
DBE/MBE
DBE participation will conform with JTA policy.
SIGNIFICANT ISSUES:
Preserving the surrounding neighborhoods, while providing traffic
congestion relief and improving safety at the intersection,
and reducing air pollution along the transportation corridor.
