DESCRIPTION:
Widen A.C. Skinner Parkway existing two-lane road to four lanes
at Belfort Road, and construct a new four-lane road from the
end of the existing road to Southside Blvd.
STATUS:
Current Activity: CONSTRUCTION PHASE: Construction
by John Carlo Co. began September 13, 2004, and was substantially
completed and opened to four lanes of traffic on November 15,
2006. Project close-out and transfer to the CoJ is in process.
Funding: Funding allocation is $19.5 million.
Schedule: The easterly segment was completed
by mid-June 2005, as scheduled. The entire project was substantially
completed and opened to traffic on November 15, 2006.
DBE/MBE
DBE participation goal during construction is 15%.
SIGNIFICANT ISSUES:
None at this time.
