The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) is bringing a better way to travel in our community with the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRT).

The BRT will revolutionize how we travel throughout Jacksonville and the Northeast Florida region by giving commuters more flexible, diverse and practical travel options.

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority hosted four public hearings October 15 - 18 to share the findings of the Tier One Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) and solicit official public comment.

The purpose of the Tier One PEIS is to document community and environmental impact statements that may be impacted by the purchase of parcels to preserve right-of-way for the bus rapid transit stations.
