Authority (JTA) recognizes its responsibility to the community

Contractor's Payment
Instructions
Effective March 1, 2004, all prime contractors/consultants performing federally funded, Better Jacksonville Plan, or any work at JTA are required to enter payment information for subcontractors/subconsultants through the use of a website located at www.equalworks.com. This also includes payment of full retainage, when applicable. Vendors are issued a username and password in order to access the website.
This requirement is JTA's effort to remain compliant with the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) federal regulations 49 CFR Part 26.29 regarding prompt payment mechanisms for its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program.
